1. Information We Collect

We gather the minimum information necessary to power ordering, delivery, loyalty, and customer support features:

  • Account & profile: name, phone number, email address, hashed password, preferred language, and profile settings.
  • Orders & transactions: menu selections, modifiers, delivery addresses, pick-up locations, order notes, promo usage, and payment status reported by the payment processor.
  • Payment details: we never store full card numbers. We retain only the last four digits, payment method type, and processor-issued tokens required for refunds or dispute resolution.
  • Location signals: if you grant permission, we use device location to show nearby branches, estimate delivery times, and verify eligibility.
  • Device & usage data: app version, operating system, IP address, crash or performance diagnostics, and in-app actions. This data helps us troubleshoot errors and improve usability.
  • Support communications: emails, chats, or phone calls with our customer service teams.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Processing orders, coordinating delivery or pickup, and sending confirmations.
  • Setting up and managing your account, authenticating logins, and syncing data across the app and website.
  • Communicating about service updates, security alerts, loyalty rewards, and marketing messages (with the ability to opt out).
  • Personalizing menu recommendations, offers, and notifications based on your preferences.
  • Preventing fraud, enforcing our terms, and meeting regulatory or auditing obligations.

  • Delivery & logistics teams: limited order details required for couriers to hand off your food.

4. Retention & Security

  • Customer accounts remain active until you request closure or until we are permitted to delete inactive accounts by law.
  • Order history is retained for accounting, fraud prevention, food safety traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Payment tokens or receipts are stored only as long as refunds or chargebacks are possible.
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in secure environments with restricted access.
  • Internal access to customer data is role-based and limited to staff who require it to perform their duties.

5. Your Choices & Rights

  • Access, update, or delete your profile information from the in-app account settings or by contacting us.
  • Change notification preferences or unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • Disable location sharing in your device settings; ordering will still work with manually entered addresses.
  • Request a copy of the data we hold or ask us to restrict certain processing when applicable laws provide that right.
  • Request account deletion anytime via our dedicated endpoint: /account/delete/. This privacy policy remains available at /privacy-policy/ to satisfy the store requirement linking to deletion.

6. Children

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we will delete such data if we become aware of it.

7. International Transfers

Servers or service providers may be located outside of your country. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on contractual safeguards, encryption, and other protections consistent with the privacy laws that apply to our operations.
